CFRP has many properties that metal material don't have, and is indispensable to the space machines. First of all, as is known, lightness is essential for the space machines and the weight of the rockets must be strictly limited. Meanwhile, the rockets must bear severe load at the time of launching. Moreover, the machine can't work well if the material can't bear the severe temperature change of the outer space and avoid the deterioration.

CFRP has two major characteristics:

1.High Specific strength and specific hardness (light, hard and strong).
2.Low heat transformation (The distortion is small under the condition of high temperature and cryogenic temperature).

Compared with the metal, CFRP's advantage is overwhelming, and its application in this field becomes very essential. The export and import of the technology in space machine field have been strictly limited, for the reason of military and national safety. But now, the material and technology are accepted for private use. CFRP has been extensively adopted in a wide variety of industries.

N Carbon is devoted to developing the use of the carbon materials. One target field is industrial use, where the characteristics of ˇ®light and strong' can be utilized well. In addition, we are also planning to develop some products which are ˇ®good sense' with the use of carbon.
